'Evelyn, With Her Butterfly Clip' is a tender portrait of my granddaughter. Most of my work evolves from, or is a reaction to, deep thought or intense curiosity about the world in or around the 'I', but sometimes it's nice to just sit down  and paint a picture of a beautiful soul who means so much to me.
